The living voice travel guide

Every traveller is Dante.

Talk to it like a person. It knows where you are and where you're looking, tells you the story of what's in front of you, and walks or drives you to the next wonder.

I

A living guide, not an audio tour

No recorded tracks, no museum headsets: ALIGHIERI converses. Interrupt it any time by just speaking, ask “what's this palace?” and it knows — because it reads the place around you, maps and encyclopedia, before answering. And when it can't find something, it says so instead of making it up.

Talk

One tap and it greets you by name. No menus, no wake words: just speak — it listens and answers with a real voice.

It notices

It knows where you are and where you're facing. Pass by a wonder and it tells you — “on your right” really is your right.

It walks with you

“Take me to the cathedral”: turn-by-turn guidance, reroutes when you stray, and stories about what you pass on the way.

Two guides, two characters

Virgil and Beatrice side by side on a mountain path, in the gilded-manuscript style
Beatrice, portrait in illuminated-manuscript style

Beatrice

Stern grace: luminous and direct, she scolds you and smiles at you in the same breath. She makes you look up at exactly the right spot of the rose window.

Virgil, portrait in illuminated-manuscript style

Virgil

The slow-stepping master: a deep voice, full pauses, the patience of someone who has seen everything and still marvels with you.

Choose your companion — and your language: Italian, English, Spanish, French or German.

III

It works all over the world

Rome or New York, the duomo or the alley: the guide reads the encyclopedia of wherever you are, in the local language.

IV

What it does

Live voice, interruptible

Speak over it any time: it drops the thread and follows yours. Synced captions for noisy places.

Knows where you look

GPS and compass together: “in front of you”, “on your right” — and the direction is the real one, not the map's.

Cards on screen

While it speaks, cards arrive: places, maps, photos — each with a tappable source, so you can check with your own eyes.

It notices places

You walk, it watches: pass something worth knowing and it points it out — with documented facts, not from memory.

It takes you there

Walking or driving navigation, with rerouting and stories along the way. In the car: window mode, narrating what glides by.

The haptic compass

“Point me toward the bell tower”: the phone pulses faster and faster until you're facing it. Like a game of hot and cold.

The Journey

Every story you hear lights up a country on your world map: an illustrated passport that fills itself in.

Declared truth

Facts, legends and hearsay stay distinct — and opening hours are searched on the web, never invented. When it doesn't know, it says so.

VI

Your business, on the guide

When a traveller asks “where should I eat?”, ALIGHIERI shows the real places nearby — and the guide's partners sit on top, openly declared. We don't sell the storytelling: in front of the Duomo, we talk about the Duomo. We sell the right moment: a guest two hundred metres away, genuinely hungry.

  • Always declared: a badge on screen and the guide's own words (“they're our partner”).
  • Never inside the cultural storytelling: only in practical questions — eating, drinking, shopping.
  • The two nearest partners on top of the list; the rest is ordered by distance, honestly.
  • Quality first: you get in if you earn it, and you leave the list if you drop below the bar.
